Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY. You will support doctors with imaging guidance, prepare patients, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced IR lab.

The role requires IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS. Travel benefits and support are provided, with competitive pay and day-to-day clinical teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
