Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a cardiac IR role requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department in an academic, research-based medical center
• Patient population includes outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call rotation averaging 10 days per month, including one weekend
• No floating required outside of scope
• Onsite parking available at no fee
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
• BLS and ARRT certification required (ARRT Advanced Cert. preferred); license required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, and biopsies required
• Proficiency with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, and GU, abdominal, and pelvic procedures required
• Must be skilled in deploying pushable/detachable coils, using micro catheters, micro wires, and snare kits
• Experience with injector systems required, ACIST system preferred
