Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Farmington, CT. You will perform imaging-guided procedures, prep patients, and support interventional radiologists in a fast-paced lab setting.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and a current BLS. ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and licensure may be preferred. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are offered.

Formación

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred.
• PALS or ENPC certification may be required.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment for procedures.
