Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Position in Florence, South Carolina

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment starting 06/15/2026. The role requires 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts and is categorized as a Travel position.

Requirements

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Duties & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department, providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
• Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patient response, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
