Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role requires current license in good standing and specialty certifications, with 18 months of interventional experience preferred.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and interventional imaging, assisting physicians, and maintaining sterile technique. A travel contract offers weekly pay, housing options, and full credentialing fee coverage.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department via technical support to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician orders.
• Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring, and sterile field maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, compassionate patient care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
