Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Mesa, Arizona. This role performs diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, producing high-quality images while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, BLS, and strong communication skills. On-call coverage and 12-hour shifts are part of the schedule for a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved and accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and state licensure when applicable.
• Advanced specialty certification from an accrediting body when applicable, to be completed within 18 months of hire; equivalent clinical experience may apply for Cath Lab assignments.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Effective communication and human relations skills, with the ability to analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure patient education and documentation.
• Support radiation safety, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary workflow.
• Direct the activities of students and support staff when required.
