Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mesa, Arizona. This IR tech role offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and a competitive pay package within a supportive clinical team.

You will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, assist with sterile procedures, and ensure safety and quality care in a fast-paced travel environment.

Qualifikationen

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Current ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification compliant with state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Aufgaben

• Prepare and position patients for interventional procedures with safety and comfort in mind.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain sterile fields.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details accurately.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Apply radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure readiness for procedures.
• Restock supplies and manage catheters, guidewires, and contrast agents.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members for patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.
