Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Interventional Radiology for a Louisville, Kentucky assignment. Requires active KY or compact RN license and 2+ years in IR, with AHA BLS/ACLS and NIHSS certs. CPI training and flu/COVID vaccines are required. The role is a 13-week travel assignment with a 9-hour day shift.

Responsibilities include vascular IR procedures, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring safety and quality of care in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent interventional radiology experience.
• Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions on file.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must not expire during the assignment.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of consideration.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training may be completed onsite.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Vascular Radiology department within a hospital setting.
• Day shift, scheduled from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• 13-week assignment.
• Focus on interventional radiology procedures with a vascular patient population.
• Perform specialized nursing care during interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic radiology procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity vascular environment.
• Must provide explanations for any gaps in work history of three months or more.
• Testing modules and required training such as CPI will be assigned and must be completed.
• Only AHA certifications are accepted for required life support credentials.
