Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to support a 13-week assignment in Louisville, KY. The role requires operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology procedures, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively with residents and families and work cooperatively.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with local health regulations.
• Meet post-offer health assessment requirements.
• Physical and sensory requirements as listed in job description.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak and related systems.
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams delivering clinical excellence.
