Job summary

TotalMed RN in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment. 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts, Travel Employment Type.

Immediate opening with requirement of 1–2 years acute care experience and standard radiology responsibilities. The Radiology RN will perform IV starts, monitor vital signs, administer meds, assist with procedures, and collaborate with technologists and radiologists in a diagnostic setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS and PALS certifications are required or must be obtained before assignment

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access infusaports, administer medications and monitor vital signs
• Suction patients, insert foleys, and assist with personal needs
• Inform radiology staff of any unusual patient needs and assist during procedures
• Administer IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures
• Monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters and ensure patient safety
