Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Radiology RN travel nurse for a Minneapolis, MN assignment. This 10-week travel role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in a diagnostic radiology setting.

Shifts are 8 hours daily, 40 hours per week. ACLS and BLS certifications are preferred, and candidates should be prepared to support procedures and patient care in a fast-paced radiology department.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required or preferred.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience is expected.
• Experience in a diagnostic radiology environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start or check peripheral IVs, access infusaports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert foleys, and assist patients with needs.
• Inform technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
• Perform specialized nursing duties, such as IV sedation or analgesia during procedures.
• Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters.
