Job summary

TotalMed RN in Decatur, GA is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a 13-week assignment. The RN Infusion/PICC will provide specialized care for patients requiring infusion therapy and PICC line management, with focus on safety, education, and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include at least 1 year of infusion RN experience, current BLS, state licensure eligibility, and ability to work 40 hours per week on days shift. Travel experience preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN infusion experience.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for state licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine infusion therapy needs.
• Insert and care for PICC lines and other CVADs with safety.
• Administer IV medications and monitor infusion therapy.
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient response.
• Educate patients and families on PICC care and infusion therapy.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses timely.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Manage a caseload with punctual visits and quality care.
