Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The contract is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license with ACLS/BLS, experienced in post-interventions monitoring and complex patient care, including telemetry interpretation, to support a busy Step Down Unit.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with post-MI patients, postoperative vascular care, GI bleeds, and DKA preferred.
• Ability to read telemetry strips effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient status and vital signs throughout the shift.
• Administer medications and titrate intravenous drips as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, closely monitoring patients post-interventions and managing a variety of complex conditions. You will be vital in ensuring optimal patient recovery and comfort during their stay.

Responsibilities
