This 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts and weekend duties as scheduled. The role requires current RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and ICU experience is preferred though not required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a single Critical Care Unit consisting of 20 beds, with a patient population that includes approximately 30-50% COVID-19 patients, as well as those recovering from cardiac procedures and other complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critical patients, including those with COVID-19, cardiac issues, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and post-surgical cases.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to critical patient needs promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience in an ICU setting is preferred but not required; candidates without EPIC experience will be considered.
