Gifted Healthcare is seeking an Intermediate Care Unit RN (IMCU RN) to care for patients with serious conditions in Albany, GA. You will assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs during night shifts to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include data collection (vital signs, pain levels), administering physician-prescribed treatments, and communicating with patients, families, and physicians. Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Qualifications

• Assess each patient’s needs and collect relevant data (temperature, blood pressure, pain levels) according to procedure.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians; advocate for the patient.

Intermediate Care Unit RNs (IMCU RNs) treat patients who are suffering from serious conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, electrolyte imbalances, renal failure, liver failure, gastrointestinal bleeds, blood disorders, cancer, sepsis, respiratory distress or multi-system organ failure. IMCU RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assess each patient’s needs individually and collect relevant data, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pain levels, according to the facility’s prescribed procedure
• Perform physician-prescribed treatments and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians, being an advocate for the patient
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients Shift: 3x12 Nights
