Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (ICU stepdown) position in Springfield, MA. The role requires a MA RN license and BLS certification, with a preference for 2+ years of surgical/trauma experience.

Qualifications

Active MA RN license required.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a Medical/Surgical/Trauma/Transplant Intermediate Care Unit (ICU stepdown).
32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4.
Care for complex surgical and medical patients, including those on ventilators, high flow, and BiPAP.
Cases include trauma, general surgery, thoracic surgery, kidney transplants, and Whipple procedures.
AM shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30), 36 hours per week.
No on-call responsibilities.
Deliver care to patients with highly complex surgical and medical needs within an ICU stepdown setting.
