Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The incumbent will work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts in an ICU setting and will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult ICU patients.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months of ICU experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, health insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certification.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and family education and support.
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt condition changes.
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
