Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Conroe, Texas is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU assignment. The RN will work 12-hour day shifts for 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract, starting 10/12/2026. Active RN license and acute care ICU experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and detect signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheter care as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medications and procedures.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures and changes in patient condition.
