Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, IL. You will provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, monitor vitals, operate life-support equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

The role requires one year of ICU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in status.
• Operate and manage life-sustaining equipment in the ICU.
• Administer complex medications and therapies per protocol.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record promptly.
• Educate patients and families about ICU treatments and expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Maintain infection control practices and patient safety.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to ICU care.
