Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Mattoon, Illinois. You will provide comprehensive critical care, monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ICU RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS certifications may enhance candidacy.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately for continuity of care.
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret results.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
