Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment in California. The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ICU experience, with the option for BSN and additional ICU proficiency benefiting applicants.

The position features a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule (12-hour shifts), 36 hours weekly, and use of Epic EMR. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, with travel and housing support available.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience within last 3 years
• BSN and 2+ years ICU experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification, CCRN, and dialysis/SLED experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
• Night shift 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Operate within an ICU hospital environment
• Use Epic EMR to document care
