American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in California. CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required, with a minimum of two years of ICU and two years of night shift ICU experience.

Driver's license copy and two professional references are requested. The role involves care in a 20-bed ICU, patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and potential cross-unit float to ER, Tele, or Med Surg.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required (per state licensure).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required for clinical eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Minimum 2 years of night shift ICU experience.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor (last 12 months) and one peer or supervisor (last 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Work in a 20-bed ICU within an acute care hospital setting.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity.
• Manage neuro, oncology, CVA, post-surgical and complex ICU cases.
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients across diagnoses and surgical cases.
• Collaborate with in-house intensivist support for 24/7 coverage.
• Floated to ER, Tele, or Med Surg as needed.
• Navy blue scrubs required and holiday coverage duties.
• Vents managed with Respiratory Therapy assistance.
