Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position in Massachusetts. The role requires active MA RN license and 2+ years of continuous MICU experience, with telemetry competency and BLS/ACLS certifications. Night shift, no rotation, and a periodical weekend requirement are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2+ years MICU experience required
• Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor telemetry data

Responsibilities

• Care for adult ICU patients in Level III Trauma Center MICU with 20 beds
• Manage high acuity patient ratios (1:2 or 1:1) and float to Med/Surg as needed
• Attendings and residents present in ICU 24 hours/day
• Night shift set; every other weekend required
• Use EPIC EMR for charting
• Provide critical care nursing to a wide range of adult ICU patients
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (no exemptions)
• Free on-site parking
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at reduced rate
• RTO disclosure at time of consideration
