Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel nursing job in Dothan, Alabama. The role is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, featuring 12-hour day shifts and travel-focused requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications. You will evaluate and monitor ICU patients, document care, and educate families while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; 1–2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• Travel nursing mindset and ability to adapt to new facilities and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care in an ICU setting.
• Monitor and document patient status and response to treatment.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment; adjust as needed.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and coordinate care.
