Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Dothan, Alabama. Shift is 12 hours (nights), 36 hours per week. Requires ACLS, BLS, and 2 years of acute care RN experience; travel nursing experience preferred.

The ICU RN will evaluate and monitor patients, document care, and support families, with immediate placement and competitive compensation for a travel assignment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 2 years RN acute care experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Administer prescribed medications and record responses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Manage patient equipment and ensure accurate device placement.
• Communicate patient status to families and document care plans.
