Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse to join our team in Evanston, IL. This assignment requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/NRP certifications, and a 12-hour rotating shift schedule with 36 hours per week.

The ICU travel RN will evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and families. Travel experience preferred, with benefits and competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in ICU settings.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and patient care plans.
• Communicate patient status to families and coordinate with the care team.
