Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a 13-week assignment in Chicago, Illinois. The travel position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts in a busy ICU.

Candidates should have ICU experience (2 years), current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications (CCRN preferred), and be comfortable floating to SICU/Telemetry as needed. Qualifications

• 2 years ICU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; CCRN preferred.
• First Time Traveler: strong ICU background.
• Travel assignment is 13 weeks in ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU care to critically ill patients.
• Manage ventilators, tubes, and arterial lines.
• Titrate vasopressors and sedation per protocol.
• Float to SICU/Telemetry units as needed.
