Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse (RN) for Evanston, Illinois. The role requires ICU experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications. The assignment is travel-based for 12 weeks with 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour shift.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, are able to handle high-acuity patients, and can communicate effectively with families and the care team. Benefits include weekly pay and generous support for travel assignments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ICU RN with critical care skills and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care and care plans.
• Educate and support patient families; assist with long-term care planning.
