Qualifications

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and executing essential care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee the execution of STEMI and stroke protocols.
• Administer conscious sedation, chest tubes, and monitor for emergencies.
• Perform intubations and manage patient codes.
• Utilize equipment such as Philips monitors, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, and Verathon bladder scanner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of recent ICU experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Previous experience in a charge role is preferred.
