Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse in MICU for a 13‑week travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. Start 10/26/2026, nights on a 3x12‑hour schedule (6:00 PM–6:30 AM), with 36 guaranteed hours per week. ICU‑level care for adults, using EPIC EMR, in a critical access hospital setting.

The role requires CA RN license, ACLS/BLS, PALS within six months, and EPIC experience. CCRN encouraged but not required; extension opportunities may arise based on unit needs.

Qualifications

Current California RN license and eligibility to practice in the state.
Minimum 2 years of documented ICU experience; CCRN encouraged but not required.
ACLS and BLS required; PALS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide direct ICU care for adult patients, including assessments, monitoring and plan of care.
Administer medications and therapies; manage life‑support equipment as needed.
Document patient data accurately in EPIC and maintain safety standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapy and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
Respond to emergencies and participate in quality and infection prevention initiatives.
