Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an Intensive Care Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients in a hospital setting. The role involves comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention in emergencies within an ICU environment.

The position requires RN licensure with ICU experience, strong clinical judgment, and proficiency with life-support equipment and IV therapies.

Formación

• Registered nurse with intensive care experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy.
• Ability to manage emergencies and provide high-acuity care.
• Knowledge of life-support and monitoring equipment and patient safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other prescribed therapies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as part of ongoing patient evaluation.
• Respond promptly to life-threatening events and perform urgent nursing interventions.
• Ensure ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment are functioning correctly and are used safely.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
