American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN - ICU in Fayetteville, NC for a LTAC setting with night shifts. Start date 01/12/2026, duration 13 weeks, 48 hours per week on a 4x12 schedule, nights. Epic charting experience is preferred.

Active NC or compact RN license is required. Travel nursing experience and the ability to work every other weekend are expected. This position includes travel reimbursements and comprehensive benefits.

• Epic experience preferred.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in a long-term acute care setting requiring night shifts and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a long-term acute care hospital with 66 staffed beds
• Night shifts with a 4x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating to similar units may be necessary based on facility needs
• Epic EMR is used for charting and documentation
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required
• Team structure includes support for floating and cross-unit collaboration
• RTO requests are subject to manager discretion
• Holiday coverage may be required per hospital policy
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Requirements

• Active North Carolina or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Previous ICU experience in a hospital or LTAC setting required
• Epic experience preferred
• Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year prior to applying as a traveler
• Candidates may only complete two consecutive contracts before a six-month break is required
