American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU/LTAC position in Fayetteville, NC. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, comprised of three 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements include an active NC or compact RN license and ICU or LTAC recent experience. Locals are not accepted and travel/licensing reimbursements are provided.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a long-term acute care hospital requiring a NC or compact license and every other weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a long-term acute care hospital
• Cares for long-term and critical care patients
• Uses Epic for charting
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating within scope and between similar units may be required
• Royal blue and white scrubs required
• Position is for a 13-week assignment
• Responsibilities include providing direct care to critically ill and long-term acute patients
• Block scheduling requests will be considered
• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Maximum of two contracts consecutively; after two, a 6-month break is required before returning
• RTO (time off) requests are subject to managerial discretion
• First-time travelers are not accepted

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of recent ICU or LTAC experience required
• Professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required
• Locals not accepted; candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Applications must include a full 7-year work history with any gaps explained
