Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for ICU float pool with night shifts in Boise, Idaho. The position requires ICU experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/TNCC, Epic EMR, and a valid Idaho license. Base pay is posted as $2,383 per week, with benefits and per diem support.

Assignments are across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa facilities, with a 1:1–2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and no on-call requirements. Travel and licensure reimbursements are included, along with insurance and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Ability to titrate drips for ICU settings.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Two references: supervisor (past 12 months) & peer/supervisor (past 3 years).
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from assigned hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Work in ICU float pool across multiple acute care hospitals.
• Covers ICU units at Boise, Meridian, and Nampa facilities; float within critical care.
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratio 1:1–2.
• Must use EpicCare Inpatient EMR.
• Float to other units within specialty or serve as 1:1 sitter as needed.
• Assignments provided via app one hour before shift; all within a 20-minute drive.
• Orientation includes meet-and-greet and three inpatient orientation shifts.
• ICU float RNs may cover assignments in any critical care unit at three facilities.
• Charge nurse and leadership provide 24/7 support.
• Nursing assistants and patient care techs provide support; ratios vary.
• No on-call; blocking scheduling; special requests not accepted.
• Professional appearance; no scrub color mandated.
• Holiday coverage may be required.
• Must be away from any previous permanent position at these facilities for at least one year.
