American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ICU Float RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in Idaho (Boise area). Requires ICU background, travel nursing experience, and a compact RN license.

The role covers multiple units across three campuses with EPIC EMR, 12-hour nights, and no self-scheduling. Competitive pay, housing support, and licensure reimbursement are offered; travel references and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (ID state license or compact) required at time of consideration.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor within last 12 months and one peer or supervisor within last 3 years, with dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Float pool covering ICU, ER, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, and NICU across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa campuses.
• Float only within specialty; may serve as 1:1 sitter as needed.
• ICU staffing includes 2 Boise, 1 Meridian, 1 Nampa ICU; generally lower acuity.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio in ICU is 1:1–2; EPIC EMR used.
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a, weekends as needed.
• Titrate drips as part of ICU duties; float pool leadership available for traveler support.
