Job summary

Pilot Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems across our Northeast store network. You will travel up to 100% of the time, receive a company vehicle and tools, and work under OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of recent commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA guidelines knowledge (OSHA 10 training provided).
• EPA Section 608 certification

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per warranty and industry standards.
• Communicate repair status with the service technician supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit to supervisor; ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle and tools to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, refrigeration, and food service equipment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Travel up to 100% and provide coverage for vacancies/LOA.
