Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across multiple store locations in the Eugene, OR region. You will work from a company vehicle, handle fuel systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Role includes troubleshooting, diagnostics, and servicing rooftop HVAC units, refrigeration, and food service equipment with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires legal work authorization in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Universal 608 certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• OSHA familiarity (OSHA 10 training provided).

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management.
• Submit same-day work order notes and ensure proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle and uniforms to company standards.
• Repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems (training provided).
• Inspect interiors/exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and food service equipment.
