Job summary

The Westover Companies, a family-owned property management firm serving the King of Prussia area, seeks an HVAC Mechanical Specialist to assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems. This role is based in Montgomery County, PA, with travel across the tri-state area required.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed safety guidelines and instructions.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
• Willingness to learn various mechanical and HVAC tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing and maintaining boilers and related equipment.
• Change and install commercial water heaters and indirect storage tanks.
• Replace corroded piping and old isolation valves to maintain system integrity.
• Safely change and install gas lines on mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and assist in resolving mechanical equipment failures.
• Follow the International Mechanical Code and company standards during all tasks.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including proper handling of heavy equipment.
• Move and position storage tanks safely using approved methods.
• Collaborate with the HVAC division when required for cross-functional tasks.
• Follow directions from the immediate supervisor and work effectively within a team.
