Position: Hospice Registered Nurse. Location: Macon, Missouri. Start ASAP. EmploymentType: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary. Pay: Weekly gross $2080–$2120, based on a 40-hour week, with travel/housing stipend where eligible.

Qualifications

• ASN or an equivalent is required.
• BSN or an equivalent is highly preferred.
• RN license for state applying or compact if accepted is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for hospice patients in home setting.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans including Start of Care and admissions.
• Support patient recovery to enable staying at home with loved ones.
• Educate patients and families to manage diseases and care goals.
• Provide hospice nursing care within state practice act and policies.
• Ensure physicians' orders are legible and transcribed properly.
• Document patient visits within 24 hours of service.
• Provide bereavement support to families as needed.
• Territories to cover: Macon, MO and surrounding areas.
