Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a High Risk OB Ultrasound Tech for a 5-week travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. The role requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year in high-risk OB, and a valid ultrasound license, with BLS.

Travel, comprehensive benefits, and strong support from a clinical team are provided. You will perform obstetric ultrasound procedures, collaborate with physicians and radiology staff, and ensure patient safety and comfort

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment.
