Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology seeks a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fairfax, VA. This role focuses on high‑risk OB ultrasound procedures, offering competitive pay, day-one benefits, and full travel support.

You will perform high‑risk obstetric imaging, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and deliver accurate findings while prioritizing patient education and comfort. 40 hours weekly, days shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High‑Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples as needed.
• Administer respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery at the correct rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and families on medications and equipment.
• Perform other duties within CRT scope.
