Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. The High Risk OB specialty requires accuracy in imaging and collaboration with the clinical team to support high-risk pregnancies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
• Observe and record patient status and progress
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned within the CRT scope
