Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects nationwide, starting with a project in northeast Ohio.

You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, maintain project schedules, write daily and quality inspection reports, and coordinate with the Project Construction Manager.

This role requires 100% travel and offers meaningful responsibility on complex projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 9 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, correctness, and quality.
• Maintains project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record.
• Takes progress photographs and labels each image.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager.
• May oversee key trades/subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Corresponds with management and clients clearly and professionally.
• Maintains on-site records per document control requirements.
• Follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and related instructions.
