Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. The initial project is in northeastern Ohio, with responsibilities including safety, quality control, scheduling, and coordination with project management and clients.

Responsibilities encompass daily reporting, progress photography, contract extras, and ensuring documentation aligns with drawings and specifications. 100% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership.
• Take progress photos and label them for records.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use latest design drawings revision.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Support key trades or subcontractors on the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain professional correspondence with project management and clients.
• Keep on-site records per The Perry Group requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and related procedures.
