Job summary

Indicon LLC seeks a motivated Robotics Engineer/Robotics Technician to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. The role involves hands-on work across industrial automation, robotics, and machine vision with frequent travel to customer sites across North America.

You will program and troubleshoot robotic systems, assist with machine vision integration, and support installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of robotics, automation, controls, or related engineering experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% across North America.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and solving problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and support industrial robotic systems and automated manufacturing Equipment.
• Assist with machine vision integration and robotics applications.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and startup activities at customer facilities.
• Work directly with customers to diagnose issues and provide technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams across robotics, programming, paint, and flexible manufacturing environments.
