Job summary

Daktronics is seeking an Installation Supervisor to manage on-site installations for Live Events and International units. The role involves coordinating with Project Managers, subcontractors, and customers, and leading on-site teams to ensure installation success.

Work involves travel 80-85% of the time, often staying on-site for extended periods. Most work occurs Mon-Fri with some nights and weekends required; home office in Phoenix, AZ is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related electrical, technical preferred, or an associate’s degree with at least three (3) years technical experience.
• Must be able to get a passport.
• Ability to work at heights, from a ladder, and carry ladder/tools from vehicle to site; lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in cold/hot weather and small spaces.
• Advanced computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, data analysis; Internet Explorer a plus.
• Read and understand drawings/blueprints.
• Must travel by air and ground; comply with Driver Eligibility Policy; MVR check.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan, delegate, and communicate with subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and customer to aid installation plan.
• Lead onsite teams and coordinate installation activities for project success.
• Monitor safety, manage risk, and ensure daily work is well laid out.
