Job summary

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Walla Walla, Washington. The Hand Therapist will specialize in evaluation and treatment of the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and function restoration.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state of practice.
• 1–2 years of hand therapy or outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat upper extremity conditions including post-surgical cases, fractures, tendon injuries and chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses/splints.
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to improve function and reduce pain.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery expectations.
