Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse – Geriatric for a Washington, NC travel assignment in a long-term care setting. This 8-week assignment starts 10/31/2026, with an evening shift and a weekly pay range of $1,670 to $1,749.

An active North Carolina RN license is required. The successful candidate will deliver direct geriatric care, participate in interdisciplinary care planning, administer medications, monitor residents, and coordinate with families.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum 12 months of recent RN experience.
• Geriatric care experience or exposure preferred.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting.
• Assess residents and develop/update individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor responses and adverse events.
• Monitor vital signs, perform routine assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team.
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team and relay information to families as appropriate.
• Ensure safety, comfort, infection control, and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.
• Orientation conducted during the first few hours of the initial shift.
