Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse, Geriatric for a travel assignment in Templeton, CA. The 13-week shift is nights (3x12s: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with guaranteed 36 hours weekly, starting 11/02/2026.

Pay ranges from $2,686 to $2,815 per week, with weekly pay and dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, plus credentialing help and ongoing clinical resources throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and every two years.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for geriatric inpatients.
• Coordinate and manage patient care; delegate tasks to the health care team.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social services; participate in rounds and conferences.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and accurate charting in EMR.
