Overview

Travel General Laborer Nights $18

SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team! We are hiring full-time laborers who are hardworking and reliable. Willing to travel for extended periods and work nights from 9pm to 6am. Must be willing to learn and familiar with basic tools. The team will work inside home improvement retail chains, handling heavy steel and pallet racking.

Becoming a Racking Team Member is a prerequisite for the Senior Lead position.

What You’ll Do

• Perform physically demanding construction work
• Remodel big box retail stores overnight
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
• Move products between old and new pallet racking
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics
• Engage in physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overnight shifts
• Ability to follow instructions on tagging, rotating, and placing products
• Comfort climbing ladders and working at heights up to 20 feet
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with basic hand and power tools (own safety gear required)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license
• Personal cell phone and valid email
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear
